Hollie has been playing music since her teens, and has performed at open mics and small gigs in the UK. Originally discovering performance through the folk scene, her eclectic music taste has influenced her current style to include a range of covers and the odd original.
While running a regular open mic at uni, she often played her own songs. These days she is a little out of practice with song writing, so focuses mainly on adapting lesser known covers that suit her style. With more Wellington performances on the cards, a return to song writing is on the horizon, along with some exciting new collaborations with friends.
Hollie will be joined for some of the set by Paul Woolhouse, a Wellington based guitarist. Paul has been playing guitar since his early teens, and has previously performed in rock bands at high school. Paul will be blending his alt rock guitar licks with Hollie’s folky fingerstyle to create a pleasant afternoon of warm vibes.
